If experiencing difficulties uploading video files for a Touchstone, first ensure there is a stable internet connection and that the video does not exceed the size limit of 4GB. Also ensure that the file type is one supported for Touchstone videos: 3G2, 3GP, ASF, ASX, AVI, FLV, MOV, MP4, M4V, MPG, MPEG, RM, VOB, WMV, MTS or MKV.
Video submission are also more likely to be successful if uploaded via laptop or desktop versus a mobile device.
If you are still unable to upload a video using the tips above, try one of these video submission workarounds:
- Upload the video Google Drive and send the Google Drive link for it via the Touchstone Inquiry Form. Make sure the share settings for the file are set to "Anyone" with a link.
- Upload the video to YouTube as an unlisted video. Once uploaded, send the video link via the Touchstone Inquiry Form. Keeping the video unlisted should allow only those with the link to watch it.
- Attach the video in an email and send it to learningcoach@sophia.org. Include your name, the course and specific Touchstone number in the email.
Please Note: Only the Sophia Learning employees who are assisting with the file upload or grading will see the video.
