Sophia Foundations is a five-course program that lays the groundwork for knowledge and skills before starting the path to a degree - and career - in a subject area of choice. Sophia offers college-level courses, so learned with Sophia Foundations will have the opportunity to earn up to 13 credits for transfer!
There are three (3) Sophia Foundations programs available:
- Sophia Foundations: Business
- Sophia Foundations: Information Technology
- Sophia Foundations: College Preparation.
There are no individual course deadlines, but learners will have one (1) year to complete the Sophia Foundations program. A helpful tip: Aim to complete each course in two months or less to complete the program before the year-end deadline. There will be hands-on support from Academic Instructors and Learning Coaches along the way!
